We are the only company in the world making yurts in Mongolia and selling them direct to customers throughout Europe including the UK. See below for a little more insight into how this works.
Established in 2004, Ulaantaij is a Mongolian company licensed by the government to make yurts for export overseas. Based in an old Russian army barracks on the outskirts of the capital city Ulaanbaatar. Everyday operations were overseen by me and my wife until 2017 when we both decided to move back to the UK. The company is now managed by my brother-in-law & sister-in-law who have been with the company since day one.
We are a good corporate citizen of Mongolia and are proud to have a positive impact on the lives of our employees. Where possible we always source materials locally. We guarantee no one else in Asia is making yurts to the same ethical standards that we employ.

Based in our 2,500 square foot workshop cum warehouse in Croydon, we hand finish and deliver our yurts throughout the UK. from here.
We aim to always keep a good supply of yurts in stock. We are also the only company in the UK that are able to supply a full range of replacements parts for your Mongolian yurt. Be it a horsehair rope, a new door, felt insulation or a full set of wall sections.
